Bruce Cattie
Pennsylvania native Bruce Cattie graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and served as Chapter President for the Phi Sigma Kappa National Fraternity. After graduation, Bruce Cattie accepted a position with Xerox Corporation in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. In his four years with the company, Cattie consistently ranked in the top 10% of a 4,000-person sales force.
In his next 10 years in sales, Bruce Cattie repeatedly met or exceeded his annual sales quotas while opening new markets in the health care provider industry for his employers, including McKesson and HBOC. Beginning in 2000, he spent several years working with start-ups, aiding firms in developing strong business-to-business sales in the medical field. He met with both chief technology officers and venture capitalists to create marketing and sales strategies for fledgling companies.
In 2002, Bruce Cattie moved to Perot Systems Corporation in Plano, Texas. As the Director of Business Development, he secured $870 million in sales within a five-year period. He developed new strategies that enabled Perot products and services to penetrate the health-care market, and he maintained the number-one position on the Provider Market Sales Team.
Bruce Cattie spent almost two years with Callaway Partners, a firm that was acquired by Huron Consulting Group, before returning to Perot, which was later acquired by Dell Inc. He currently serves as the Regional Vice President for the North East Healthcare division for Dell Services and manages a team of sales professionals whose territory covers 14 states. Cattie’s group serves the health systems and academic medical center markets. Together, they closed over $89 million in sales and contracts in 2010 alone.
Bruce Cattie continues to focus on marketing health-care technologies and professional services. He has a wide range of C- level contacts with major health-care providers, industry leaders, and start-up companies.
